Sterling silver with 14ct gold detailing this Éireann brooch is a wee bit special...

Shamrock - Ireland, St Patrick, the green fields of Ireland.

Lily - Symbol of peace, Ireland’s role as a peacemaker, the end of fighting on Irish soil.

Heart - Love that burns in the hearts of every Irish person for Ireland.

Each strand of this brooch individually made with solid chunky 14ct gold heart, shamrock, tri spiral and lily stamen, and completed with 1.5 mm sterling silver wire.
To create this, 14 different solder joints are needed.  This is complicated on such a tight piece and requires a lot of time and patience. It is not straight forward, and there is around 2 grams of solid 14ct gold as well as over 5 grams of sterling silver.
